Good Afternoon,
Just a quick note to keep folks apprised on what’s happening at NYSCAA.
As many of you may know, NYSCAA’s Administrative Assistant Elizabeth Herrell is leaving NYSCAA later this month to pursue other ventures. Please join us wishing her well in her new endeavors. NYSCAA is currently advertising and interviewing for this position and will let you know when we have the new member of our team in place. Please see http://www.nyscaaonline.org/PositionMoreInfo.aspx?PosRecNum=36 for a copy of the position announcement.
The NYSCAA and DOS partnership has released the first portion of the FFY 2006 CSBG Annual Program Report website to the agencies. This phase was released on Wednesday August 2, 2006. To date, 15 agencies have used the system to add users who will be inputting the APRs starting October 1. The next phase will be the release to the agencies of paper versions of the webforms. These will be for the agencies to use as worksheets to prepare for the data entry phase. We are on schedule to send these out at the start of September. At the same time, the look at feel of the main portions of this new website are being finalized. Testing should begin in early September. If you would like to see where we are on this project, feel free to explore at http://www.nyscaaonline.org/APR/login.aspx .
Please check out http://hq.nyscaaonline.org/priweb/events.aspx for information on our August Access training classes. Space is still available.
The next edition of Community Action New York, NYSCAA’s quarterly newsletter, will be out in late September.
Thanks,
Denise
