2009 NYSCAA Personal Achievement Award Winner Taija Cochran Also Named 2009 Sargent Shriver Award Recipient for 2009.

Ms. Cochran was nominated by Cattaraugus Community Action for the 2009 NYSCAA Personal Achievement Award. This award recognizes a participant in Community Action services who has achieved significant personal accomplishments. Ms. Cochran’s success story was also submitted to the Community Action Partnership for its 2009 Sargent Shriver Award. We are pleased to announce the Ms. Cochran was selected as the winner of this prestigious national award. Cochran’s story was an inspiration at NYSCAA’s 2009 Annual Awards Dinner and we are sure it will bring hope to those attending the Partnership’s Dinner in Philadelphia in September. more info ...
